  • As someone who worked within the nonprofit world for over 10 years (including building a nonprofit from the ground up), I know what makes them successful. I also pride myself on my fresh and innovative approach to nonprofit organizations - making sure that everything has purpose beyond the “We’ve always done it this way” model.

  • While I am open to working with most nonprofit and community organizations, I prioritize working with organizations whose missions include supporting under-represented, under-supportes and minoritized communities Such as the LGBTQIA2S+, QTBIPOC, black, indigenous, and latiné communities.

Shelby Walton-Clark (they/she) has been involved in nonprofit and advocacy work for the last 10 years. They have spent the last 6 years working for and with nonprofits in the Portland metro area, including managing a multi-million dollar grant program for TriMet.

She spent 5 years as a founding board member of the Westside Queer Resource Center - a Washington County-based nonprofit that serves the LGBTQIA2S++ community and its allies - serving as board secretary and treasurer.

Shelby is passionate about advocating for under-supported, under-represented, and oppressed communities through community engagement and innovative and inclusive program development.

In their personal life, Shelby enjoys watching horror movies, playing gigs with their punk band, crafting, and traveling internationally with their spouse.
